Leeds Lights is the UK's largest winter illuminations festival, spanning over 15 miles of roads in and around Leeds city centre. From early November until early January, this magnificent display incorporates many special features and Christmas elements, with over 3,000 handcrafted motifs, nearly 12,000 lamps and many miles of rope light and electrical cable.

The annual Leeds Lights Switch On marks the official start of the city's festive season and is celebrated with a special stage based event on Victoria Gardens providing FREE live entertainment for all the family featuring a diverse mix of:
• Chart topping acts
• Guest celebrity presenters
• Favourite TV characters and theatrical performances
• Special guest appearance by Santa
• A fantastic city centre aerial firework display
