A little piece of Germany returns to the heart of Leeds, as over 35 authentic German traders set up stall in Millennium Square for the annual Christkindelmarkt German Christmas Market.
One of the largest and best established German Christmas markets in the UK, a visit to Christkindelmarkt is the ideal way to chase away those winter chills, where you can relax with a warming mug of Glühwein or a traditional German Bratwurst whilst browsing the fantastic range of goods on offer.
The little village of traditional snow capped wooden chalet stalls creates a magical city centre festive wonderland, featuring a wide variety of handcrafted gifts, toys, festive decorations, speciality foods and tempting delicacies. The beautifully crafted 'Frankfurter Scheune' authentic Bierkeller provides a buzzing centrepiece and there is a Christmas funfair too, with a festive carousel, dodgems and a variety of small children's rides.
